Pilates is more than just strengthening the core and having strong abdominals. When our core is working well, other parts of the body have a firm foundation from which to function well and easily, as well as decreases risk of injury.
We offer the following styles of Pilates: CONTEMPORARY AND FUNCTIONAL Both styles use Joseph Pilates techniques as the starting part and add modern variations and enhancements based on current science and body movement research. Functional Pilates is our unique variation of Pilates that incorporates functional movement training with Pilates exercises that result in the body being able to to every day movements well and efficiently.

Functional Pilates is innovative approach to teaching the body how to stabilize at the core to have a stable Hands energyfoundation from which the extremities (arms, legs, head and neck) can move and be mobile. Breath work is an important part of our Functional Pilates which allows the body to integrate efficient movement with breath while creating inter-abdominal pressure (IAP) and allows for the fasted improvements of strength, balance and mobility. Activities of daily living, Sports and other physically demanding activities become easier and almost effortless from having a Pilates program.

CANCELLATION POLICY is 24-hours Advanced Notice in CA and NJ, and 48 hours in NY. Since your appointment time is set aside specifically for you, we require that all clients extend a courteous 24 or 48 hour cancellation notice to change or cancel any appointment. If less than 24 or 48 hour notice is given, the full session fee is due immediately.
